What is STEAM?
STEAM is when Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics are used through education as access points for guiding students through inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
STEAM education opens up the world to ākonga by showing them not just how to use new technology, but also to help prepare them for jobs that may not yet exist.
These sessions are designed to offer both ākonga and whānau, exposure to and immersion with the new emerging STEAM Technologies, to inspire learning that compliments the Digital Technologies curriculum content and expands or opens new future pathways that align with the High-Tech Supernode. Introduction to the concept of High-Tech MicroCredentials that are creating greater equity in future education.
