About:
St. Joseph's Rangiora is a Catholic school founded in 1887 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart. In 1898 the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions took over the running of the school. We are part of the Rangiora Catholic Parish of St. Mary and St. Francis de Sales. In 2008-2010 we have been part of the ICTPD Rakahuri cluster. Our roll is usually around 140-150 pupils. We have six classrooms and a library with other spaces for Reading Recovery teaching and visiting tutors. From 2010 we have hosted the One Day School for gifted and talented on Thursdays.
