Riccarton High School students excel in learning, take opportunities and serve others.
Riccarton High School is a decile 7, state co-educational school which caters very well for the academic and social needs of all its students. About 29% of our students were born overseas (from 36 different countries) and we enjoy the multicultural richness that this brings to the school. We are proud of our reputation as a school that serves international students well.
Our roll of around 950 enables us to give all of our students the individual care and attention they deserve so that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring, people-centered, yet academically rigorous environment.
The Riccarton Way promotes and reinforces a set of values for our students to aspire to. It is central to our concept of the school and its role.
