RAFA11 Curriculum Leadership course
Description
This course is for teachers leading curriculum change. A five module online course that will introduce you to some of the key ideas and themes to be considered when leading curriculum change in your school.
This course has been produced to assist those responsible for leading curriculum development in schools. It has been designed specifically to assist with ideas and strategies for working with staff as you introduce new ideas and encourage different approaches in your school. Each of the five online modules can be worked through independently, or used as the basis of staff meetings where the suggested activities can be worked through together - either on or off line.
The online dimension of this course is being made available free of charge to schools in the Greater Christchurch Schools Network (GCSN) through the generosity of the RAFA group. Contact nick.ford@core-ed.ac.nz to request an individual login and password.
Schools in the GCSN may be interested in a session with CORE-Education staff to support the online dimension. This can be arranged (for a fee) via video conferencing or face to face. It can also be beneficial networked learning to combine with other schools for this type of online facilitation. Please contact derek.wenmoth@core-ed.org to request this type of facilitation.
